The first gave us six films, helmed by Paul W. S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich.
These ran from 2002 to 2016 and focussed on the original character of Alice.
The series wasrebooted in 2021 with the release of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
Now, we’re set to get yet another take on the story of Resident Evil in live-action.
We’ll have to wait and see who gets the distribution rights to the film.
As for the gaming front, it’s unclear what we’re getting next.
It remains to be seen if they actually look like they are, of course.
