A Race To The Bottom
The most unique thing about thisindieis that it’s vertically oriented.
It’s a little bitSuper Mario Bros. 2and a little bit Ice Climbers.
But the game it reminds me of the most isDownwell, my favorite roguelike of all time.
In that game, you play as a little dude who is falling, ahem, down a well.
If you keep refusing to create chaos, more and more Hellhounds will come.
Dash is speedy, and slips all over the level if you’re not careful.
Buck is a powerhouse and can demolish his way through with a huge hammer.
So, one rides around on rollerblades.
One, Larry, bounces around on a pogo stick.
It’s a game that caters to you, however you want to play.
Big Hops' gameplay is way more emergent and systems-driven than most 3D platformers.
