Toad’s Shop, a location seen in various 2D Mario games, has now manifested in the real world and immortalized in Lego. Included with the set are two characters, Yellow Toad and Nabbit, and elements that interactive figures from other sets can interact with.
Penguins have been synonymous with Mario ever since Super Mario 64 players realized they could throw a baby penguin off a mountain. Continuing to capitalize on that misdeed, Lego and Nintendo have teamed up to create an expansion set featuring that very same baby penguin. An adult penguin and a woolly hat-wearing Goomba are also included in the set.
