If theres one sports genre Im into, its snowboarding.
I guess I just like anything with boards.
Well, except for board games.
They decide to shred through some flags and end up working with 540 Indy to slowly gain some attention.
Its stupid, but its got a lot of heart.
The story and characters were a surprising positive of Shredders, but its really all about the snowboarding.
All you have are the loading screen tips, which just arent that helpful.
In some ways, Shredders being low-budget actually works really well for it.
You wont be finding Ubisoft-size worlds here, and Im grateful for that.
On the other hand, there are some elements where the budget lets the game down a bit.
Theres also not a lot of meat on the bones here.
I prefer the fast-paced arcade action of the former, but the latter is a great time as well.
Shredders is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
We tested the Xbox Series X version for this review.
