The creators ofCyberpunk 2020have just released a simplified version ofThe WitcherRoleplaying Game.
Pondsmith and Gray are the same people behind theCyberpunk 2020tabletop RPG, on which the upcomingCyberpunk 2077is based.
The free download contains a PDF with everything you should probably get started.
It features an overview ofThe Witcherlore, simplified rules, a pre-written scenario, and six pre-created characters.
The story takes place betweenThe Witcher 2: Assassin of KingsandThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
It is designed to entice new players into the world of pen and paper RPGs.

They will be encouraged to build on the tools given and explore their own stories withinThe Witcheruniverse.
The WitcherandCyberpunkseries have both been made into video games by CD Projekt Red.
While each series began life as novels,Cyberpunkwas also a tabletop RPG, created by Mike Pondsmith.
It was originally published asCyberpunk 2013all the way back in 1988.
The third edition, set further along the fictional timeline in the 2030s, is known asCyberpunk v3.0.
Netflix’sThe Witcheris said to be based on the original novels, rather than their video game adaptations.
