My long term memory is terrible.
Final Fantasy 14 is much the same.
I will never be that person, and Im sure Im not the only one.
It doesnt give you the full breakdown, either, its just the flavour text and quest log instructions.
Then we have The Unending Journey feature, which allows you to watch past cutscenes.
In short, its hard to keep track of everything without sifting through wikis all the time.
There is far too much to remember.
Im not even up to date with the main scenario on my main character.
By the time I finish it, Ill have forgotten the beginning again.
