Far Cry 6seems to be the mostFar Crygame ever to Far Cry.
Far Cry 6 has a few tonally awkward elements I have already written about prior to launch.
But cockfighting is not tonally awkward.
Its just, again, fucking gross.
Its making animals fight each other in bloody, brutal combat for sport.

The ways to change the cockfighting industry is simple - just dont do cockfighting.

Its cruelty in its basest form.
Ten years ago this would have been a bit much.
Its almosttoogross, that mentioning it at all feels vulgar.
But things like this shouldnt be happening in our medium anymore.
I dont care how fun it is.
Where are our standards?
Where are our bare minimums?

Why is this a thing thats happening?
Ive taken pot shots at Far Cry previously, but its all in good fun.
Virtual cockfighting in a triple-A game in 2021?
