There was already talk of a Fortnite movie, but some studios passed on it.

As of this writing, Sweeney has not responded directly to DanielRPK.
Then again, no one thought Minecraft could be a major success like it’s shaping up to be.
For now, though, it seems like Fortnite won’t test those waters.
